With all due respect...what breed has this obedience trainer has?
She has had English Springers to my knowledge as well as other breeds. How many gundogs I do not know. She wasn't suggesting playing in this manner, but relating her own experience when I asked her a question.
I bow to your greater experience with regard to the hard mouth issue, but, surely there is nothing wrong with playing tug if a dog only starts when allowed and stops when told.
BTW My post wasn't a response to your's Patricia. I was writing it and working while you were making your post which I did not read until about 20 min's ago _________________ If a job's worth doing, it's worth paying somebody else to do it properly
