Ali, I don't believe anyone thinks you are a bad owner.  What some people might think is that you have little time to spend on more than one Brittany at the moment.  You have an adult male Brittany already, a toddler, a baby, and a husband away from home a lot.  But that can only be a subjective perception. I really do hope that you have a lot of fun with this little bitch and I for one will be only too happy to help you at shows or over the internet.   There are people on here better able than me to help with training but perhaps you'll bring her to the working day in October.  I think this is the first time you have explained everything in detail about the three boys, so perhaps it will be clear to everyone now.  As you will remember I came to you at the last show to introduce myself and ask how you were getting on.  I think I chatted with you quite a while, but I am always very busy at shows with the money side of things, and did Jan perhaps help advise you on trimming?  I don't think we are a 'clicky' breed to be honest.  This is perhaps the case in your mother-in-law's breed, but we are mostly quite friendly in ours.

There you go Ali, nobody is perfect....just our Brittanys. Just as a matter of interest, if people don't pay to go into a show ie at the door, you can show your puppy So maybe we will see you at the club show with her Question  what is her birthday as she can, as you know, be entered at six months. So, give us a clue...is she orange and white Question  Question
Why don't you try and come over for the training day so that we can talk you through working and trials and other stuff Question

PS And we would love to see you all Very Happy  Very Happy

I have found most of the Brittany people to be very helpful, especially to those of us who are new to the breed.  I only ever intended training Moss to work but the help that I have had has made what would have been a very difficult task much easier.  Hayley has also had so much support, advice and assistance from people on the showing side.  Without this we probably wouldn't even be involved in showing.

If you have a show that you want to go to just look and see if people have to pay to go in at the door or you can ring the secretary and ask, they will tell you. I look forward to seeing her [and you].

Not much help from the KC I am afraid Embarassed
I was told to look on the schedules to see if they accept legally docked dogs or not Idea
As for their own venue in Stoneleigh...It will be hired to canine societies. It will be then up to them...
So, not much help. Maybe half a dozen who will OK the docks!!!
