no - you and dog at hub dummies laid out around you at end of spokes. used when teaching dog to take a line from a hand signal, as dog gets better spacing between spokes gets closer.

Yes Guy, I have done modified versions of these two drills. The full drills are U.S. type training and are re enforced with e- collar training ,I don't do them, I have never found it neccessary. I never had a name for force to pile training but in my version the dummies are further apart and no force was involved so I don't know if that counts.
I called Wagon wheel training, clock face training because it was easier to describe to people I was training what was wanted if they had a clock face numeral to focus on.
Same exercises really but under other names and without the compulsion elements.
