Been there yesterday and the dog has been rehomed [before we got there] I spoke to Margaret and she thinks it may be the one that John posted about some time ago. These people at Leigh haven't updated their website.

The one I posted about was in Bikenhead (Wirral Council's kennels). From memory that was a bitch. I'm almost certain that Wirral don't use Leigh. THat tends to be used by Wigan, Warrington, Manchester and some of the smaller Greater Manchester councils.

OK thanks John....got mixed up with those two. This was definately a dog his name was Benson.

Well if the dog has been rehomed I guess that someone who fancied him/her could get the details and go and say it was their dog and they wanted it back. So, in some cases, it's best not to give out details Exclamation

Do we give out details of where it's gone when we rehome a dog Question

Did you go to the kennels Jan? I've never been too impressed with it when I've visited.

Not though to have a look John....I got inside the door and was told to pay 50p, the girl behind the desk asked what I was looking for and when I said Benson the Brittany she said he had been rehomed and wouldn't give any details.....so I left [without giving her the 50p] From outside looking over the fence the place looked clean but then again there were members of the public in there looking at dogs so I suppose it must be kept clean. Bit like jail though.
