How do you see it working Eddie? I've just re-read your original post on this and it seems to me if people are going to have to pay depending on the number of people logged on then they will stay away. _________________ My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
I wasn't suggesting that any body should be required to pay to log on on a particular day, but that those who wish to donate some money might like to say that they will donate a sum per person logged on (up to a max if desired) at the peak period of a particular day/hour, if such a thing is possible to measure or at an appointed time. Some people might log on just to make those of us who are donating pay even more if they are feeling particularly evil. It doesn't have to be a lot of money. If 10 people Logged on at the same time and donated 50p per person logged on the would each donate £5.00 which means the club would be 50 quid better off or, for example, 20 people log on, 10 are donating 50p per person logged on = £100 total. Maybe somebody could start a stupid thread just for that occasion (101 uses for a dead hedgehog? Only one springs to mind involving sticks and toilets) so we could have a bit of fun. The hardest part would be collecting the money. It was just a thought.
Isn't that what we are doing anyway _________________ Jan
