Guy, if only I could come, but I have to go to a (probably tedious) meeting at school. Would much rather be in the park!

Trust you Eddie to pick on me! Razz  Rolling Eyes I won't get into that one Rolling Eyes

I think I was talking about the same Portuguese gentleman as you Guy?
I had invited this person to come and shoot over the dog when the season started Very Happy
One of my best days was meeting ( a couple of years back) a Maltese chef who worked in London. There were no Brittanys in Malta and Alex wanted to see them work. to buy one. I duly picked him up from the station and he was quite young Very Happy .
Off we went with Taz and Spot in the fields to show the dogs doing what they are so good at...producing birds...A couple of pheasants were duly shot as well as 3 hares he downed.
Hares retrieved. I don't like eating them so...as Alex did, off he went with 2 hares( in a black bin bag Rolling Eyes ) back on the train and tube through London with his heavy load Very Happy
I really love meeting people from other nationalities!

I just wondered who the bloke in Peterborough was until it dawned on me that you could have been talking about Peterborough in Ontario. Is that the case?

No, Eddie...Peterborough in England...He is American, has bought another ( French )Brittany here to add to the one he brought over from the US. He has a "Carolina EB" which he had from Kevin Pack. Whom I met whilst over in the US when doing a seminar with JF Bordet from France.
He is called Mr Reynolds and seems very nice though I've not met him. Just been emailing...
