This years weekend with working day and show has had to be moved - thanks to the Kennel Club.
It will now be October 10/11th.
Next and subsequent years it will be the last week of September.
Michel Corre (FR) and Hermann Wreesmann (DEU) can still judge for us.

I am already making arrangements for activities for this year's event.
I would particularly like to enlarge on the 'international' theme if we can. Also I am looking for ideas for Saturday that will engage both more advanced handlers and younger (in age) handlers.
I am looking for a sponsor to £250 - this would enable me to hire some multiple launch dummy launchers (Bango) for a shooting/retrieving competition.
Some things that did not make it into last year (I could not give the people enough notice) were a First Aid seminar and a have a go Agility course run by a trained instructor. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

I know a trained Agility instructor. If she can get that day off she might come up and do it for just her expenses ie; petrol money and lunch. Are we able to get the agility equipment
I wouldn't mind knowing someone that would sponsor us either _________________ Jan

If you need prices, info etc...let me know... |

Still looking for a sponsor for the Bango multiple dummy launcher.
Dr Makki from Laboklin UK has kindly agreed to come and give a talk on the inheritance of the sable gene. Laboklin offer a DNA testing service for dog owners and breeders and can test for presence or indeed confirm absence of the ay sable allele at the A locus - all will be explained on the day.
Other requests for activities for Saturday gratefully accepted - i will see what I can do.
There will be stuff for dogs who have previously run their TAN and now wish to do more. Working on the form and content of this - so again ideas of what you may want. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

Guy, just a thought. There aren't any insurance issues with doing agility are there? _________________ If a job's worth doing, it's worth paying somebody else to do it properly |

I seem to recall that this was the reason we didn't do it last year, so I'd assume that it's been sorted now. I'm sure Guy will post the right answer, however, when he's back. _________________ My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am. |
